What Echo Self Is

Echo Self is a daily motivational iOS app. Based on your date of birth, it generates a personalised message each day. The app works entirely on-device — no accounts, no servers, no cloud sync.

Data We Collect

We collect nothing. Here is what Echo Self stores locally on your device only:

• Your first name (used to personalise messages)
• Your date of birth (to reveal your message cycle)
• Your language preference (Russian or English)
• Your app install date (used to track which daily message to show)

This data is stored using Apple's standard AppStorage / UserDefaults and never leaves your device. We have no access to it whatsoever.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No crash reporting services
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data
• No contacts or device permissions
• No third-party SDKs that collect data

Third-Party Services

Echo Self does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The app makes no network requests.

Distribution through the Apple App Store is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Echo Self is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since no data leaves the device, there is no risk of personal information being transmitted from any user, including minors.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. To delete all data associated with Echo Self, simply delete the app from your device. No further action is required.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this Privacy Policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Significant changes will be communicated through an app update notice.
